The main thing I love about working in the fitness industry is watching the powerful transformations that occur in peoples’ lives when they start something as simple as exercise.
I was a cheerleader in high school, but my real fitness journey began after I had my 2 sons - Jaxon and Carson. As a new mom, of 2 young boys, working out was something I was able to do for myself! For the first time in my life, I began lifting weights and taking classes regularly. In the beginning, it was hard, then it was amazing!
No matter where you're at on your wellness path, I am committed to helping YOU work towards your personal goals and exceed your own expectations.
Ten years ago, I started as Wellness Coach at the Rock River Valley YMCA. I was hooked and soon was certified as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Shortly after that, I had the honor of stepping into the role of Wellness Director where I oversaw the entire fitness department.
In addition to my leadership positions, I have taught 1000s of classes to 1000s of people and I have personally trained 100s of clients. Currently, I provide one-on-one personal training at Anytime Fitness in Rockford, IL. I love guiding in-person classes and personal training sessions and creating customized at-home and virtual programs! As an instructor/trainer, I am equal parts serious and fun - expect to WORK and laugh every single time we connect to sweat.
In 2016 and 2017, I competed in NPC Bikini Competitions. I learned so much! I also have attended more fitness conventions to list, where I have picked up valuable, lasting information. Here are some of my certifications:
